Business Finland aids Finnish companies in global growth by encouraging collaboration between firms and research groups. Business Finland support companies' operations by offering services for various needs, such as internationalisation and product development, as well as funding, information, advice and networks for different phases of business. The Economic Development Centres (EVK) in Finland promote regional vitality in a multidisciplinary and cooperative manner. The centres' are responsible for tasks relating to business and industry, rural areas, transport, the environment and natural resources. Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland (MEAE)
The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment (MEAE) is part of the Finnish Government. The ministry implements the Government Programme, drafts legislation, monitors and develops issues falling within its remit and steers the agencies in its administrative branch.
