Integrated Carbon Observation System (ICOS)
ICOS is a European-wide research infrastructure that produces standardised data on greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere and carbon fluxes between the atmosphere, the earth, and oceans. The data is used by scientists and decision-makers to predict and mitigate climate change, and is based on data from close to 180 measurement stations across 16 European countries. The Uniarts Hub pre-incubator program offers a comprehensive overview of entrepreneurship in the arts and creative industries and provides support for developing your own business idea. vihtibusiness.fi is the municipality of Vihti's online portal for business services, including support companies seeking to grow their business by offering attractive business areas, functional premises, and customer-oriented business advisory services. Viikki Research Farm
The Viikki Research Farm spans 155 hectares of arable land and houses 60 genetically high-merit dairy cows. It offers a modern farm infrastructure that supports diverse research needs, such as feed preservation, alternative protein crop production, dairy cow welfare studies, and dietary strategies to reduce emissions.
