How to reach Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council’s Office

By train

Our office is approximately 400 metres from Pasila railway station, either via Pasila Bridge or through the Tripla shopping centre. Trains to and from Helsinki Airport stop at Pasila station.

By tram and bus

The nearest stops are Palkkatilanportti and Esterinportti.

There are a limited number of paid parking spaces in front of our office. The nearest parking garage entrance is approximately 100 metres away.

• A drop-off point is located close to the entrance (within 5 metres), providing easy access to the building.
• The route to the entrance is level, sufficiently wide, and well lit.
• There are three consecutive steps along the route. The steps do not have a handrail.
• The route includes a ramp that is less than 6 metres long. The ramp does not have a handrail.

• The entrance is clearly visible and well lit, with a canopy above it.
• The entrance doors are clearly distinguishable. There is sufficient space outside the door for manoeuvring, for example with a wheelchair. The door is heavy and difficult to open.

• The office is located on the fourth floor.
• The building has a lift that accommodates wheelchairs and has automatic doors. The floor numbers are tactile, and the button for the exit floor is distinguishable from the others.
• The office has signage directing visitors to different facilities.
• There are thresholds higher than 2 cm in some areas of the office.
• The office doors are clearly distinguishable.
• An accessible toilet is available on the fourth floor. The toilet does not have support rails on either side of the toilet seat.
