Welcome to Helsinki-Uusimaa Culture Forum 24 September 2024
The first Helsinki-Uusimaa Culture Forum invites actors in culture and creative industry to Musiikkitalo (Music Hall) in Helsinki on 24 September. What does the cultural future look like in Helsinki-Uusimaa, and what is on the topic right now? We wish for you to take part, get inspired and create your own network!
The event takes the whole day and is meant for artists, decision-makers, municipalities, universities and others interested. Main organisers of the Forum are the Helsinki-Uusimaa Region, Arts Promotion Centre Finland, Uniarts Helsinki and the City of Helsinki. The Forum is planned to be an annual event in the future.
Mrs Sari Multala, Minister of Science and Culture will be opening the Cultural Forum. Before noon, current issues in culture will be discussed. In the afternoon, English will be used for discussions by the fire and for the keynote speech. A vibrant panel discussion will be intertwining all the themes of the day.

- The Helsinki-Uusimaa Cultural Market is a meeting point for culture producers and purchasers from the municipalities. The market is taking place in the downstairs foyer. The event is a part of a 2-year project coordinated by the Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council. Read more

The event, arranged by the Ministry of Justice, aims at encouraging new applicants from different fields of culture. Information will be given in Camerata before the Culture Forum starts. Read more
