Accessibility Statement
This Accessibility Statement applies to the website of the Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council, www.uudenmaanliitto.fi (in all languages available), and was issued on 25 April 2022. The Act on the Provision of Digital Services obliges the public sector to comply with accessibility requirements in its digital services.
The information offered in this statement is based on both self-assessment and the Siteimprove Accessibility Checker.
How accessible are our digital services?
Our services comply partially with the criteria of the latest version of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, i.e. the criteria of level A and AA of WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
Non-accessible contents
The users of our website might still encounter some accessibility problems. A list of those we are aware of will follow. If you notice a shortcoming not listed, please let us know about it.
Contents not covered by the accessibility requirements:
- Maps not aimed for navigation (for instance our regional land use plans)
- Our regional plan map service (In Finnish and Swedish) or Helsinki-Uusimaa regional planning open materials service (In Finnish)
- Files published before 23 September 2018.
Contents or functions not entirely accessible:
- Some PDF, Word and Excel files are not in accordance with all the accessibility requirements.
- Interactive data visualizations made by Power BI or Everviz programmes do not meet all the accessibility requirements.
