3. Purpose of Personal Data Processing 

Personal data is used for the processing of feedback, replies or comments. 

The filing system contains: 

If the given feedback is about a regional land use plan, it is an official complaint, which will be recorded and stored permanently. 

The processing of personal data is based on an explicitly given written consent by the person who has given the feedback.  

4. Personal Data to be Found from Filing System 

The contactor’s contact information, such as name, email address and phone number. It is also possible to give anonymous feedback on the website of the Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council. 

5. Source of Personal Data 

Forms on the website of the Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council and feedback sent by email to the registration office of the Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council. 

6. Receivers of Personal Data 

Website administrators can access data in the filing system. The administrators are employees of the Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council. 

The employees of the registration office at the Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council have access to the feedback sent to it.  

Personal data is also processed by those employees, officials and delegates of the Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council, to whom a certain feedback has been addressed.  

Personal data cannot be disclosed to targets outside of the Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council. The provider of the electronic forms will process only on a special request from the controller.  

The website of the Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council is protected by the digital certificate SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). An SSL certificate safeguards the connection from any computer to any website server. 

7. Transferring and Disclosing Personal Data to Third Countries and International Organisations 

Data will not be disclosed to targets outside of the EU or the EFTA states. 

8. Storage Period for Personal Data 

Data will be stored for three months after the feedback has been given. Any feedback to a regional land use plan will be kept permanently. 

9. Rights of Data Subject 

The data subjects can cancel their consents by sending a free-form message by email to toimisto@uudenmaanliitto.fi(Will be opened in a new window) or by mail to Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council, Esterinportti 2 B, FI-00240 Helsinki.

The request should be sent via email to toimisto@uudenmaanliitto.fi(Will be opened in a new window) or by mail to Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council, Esterinportti 2 B, FI-00240 Helsinki. The message should come attached with “Request of data verification of Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council Event Filing System”. 

The right to request verification of one’s data is free of charge once a year. 

Furthermore, the data subjects have a right to make a complaint to a supervisory authority of data protection. 

10. Profiling 

The filing system is not used for profiling, or for other forms of automated decision making.
